Andrew Satinsky M.D.

Andrew Satinsky, M.D. is a faculty member in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. He graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in 1985, and an M.D. 1989. He did a medical internship at the George Washington University Hospitals, and completed his radiation oncology residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He has been board certified in radiation oncology since 1994.
Dr. Satinsky has an active interest in all aspects of adult radiation oncology. He helped develop the program for image guided radiation therapy for prostate cancer at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. He also works closely with the staff in the Radiation Medicine department at Georgetown University Hospital, particularly in the areas of partial breast radiation and the CyberKnife program. He is involved in the cancer program at Southern Maryland Hospital, serving as co-chair and cancer liaison physician on the cancer committee.
